TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
